Children's Resources
While many people assume that the Christian faith is learned at church on Sunday, a child's faith is formed and nurtured in their own home. Of course, the Church and its leaders are dedicated to reinforcing these lessons on Sundays, but make no mistake, God has called you and entrusted you as parents to raise up faithful, lifelong disciples of Jesus.

While this task can seem intimidating, please know that God has not only called you, but will also equip you to raise your child in every aspect of their life, including the faith. And Immanuel is here to help you in every season of parenthood and for every step your children take.
We've compiled a list of our favorite resources for your families to use at home as you disciple your children and encourage them to grow in their faith.
Story Bibles
While these books are not the actual, God-breathed text of the Bible, these paraphrased versions of the major Bible stories are a very accessible way for children to learn who God is, what He has done, and who He has made them to be as His children.
Full-Text Bibles
When your children can read by themselves, the last thing we want to do is give them a bible written 17th-century English — looking at you, King James Version! Instead, choose one of these Bibles that are written with an age-appropriate vocabulary and filled with illustrations, maps, explanations, and devotions to make sure children can read and understand Scripture.
Devotions
Nothing takes the place of reading Scripture. But God also calls us to spend personal time with Him — this is commonly referred to as devotional time. Devotions usually take 5–10 minutes and include a brief scripture, a few thoughts from the author to relate the Scripture to our lives, and a prayer.

Resources for Adults
It's hard to pour into someone when our own cup is empty. In other words, we need to realize that the Christian faith is not just "important for the kids" — it is just as important for you! Spend time in Scripture, lead by example, and let God fill your cup until it overflows.
